We are always learning in all stages of life…and, as Christians, we’re always growing in our faith. Here are some opportunities for growth through our Catholic community:
K-12 RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
Our Religious Education Program helps each child in our care to have a personal relationship with our Lord. Utilizing the insights of scripture as a resource and reinforcing what the Catholic Church teaches and believes, the catechists of the St. Francis de Sales Religious Ed Program instruct the children of the parish to live their lives in imitation of Christ and to respond to their baptismal call to follow Him.
YOUTH MINISTRY
The St. Francis de Sales Youth Ministry program helps young adults grow in faith by helping others in our community, attending special events such as Arise and Steubenville, and reaching out to those in need through occasional mission trips.
BECOMING CATHOLIC – RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS
Are you interested in joining the Catholic Church? The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the Church’s way of guiding adults who have begun their journey of faith to complete initiation in the Catholic Church. This group meets on a regular basis leading toward the joyful celebration of the Sacraments on Holy Saturday. For more information, contact Geri Braun at janie3@charter.net or 262-249-9590.
SMALL FAITH SHARING GROUPS AND SPECIAL FORMATION EVENTS
Encounter Jesus in a deeper way through Scripture and the Christian community! Facilitated by your fellow parishioners, the goal of small groups is to help one another grow in faith through discussions centered on God’s Word, the joys and challenges of daily life, prayer and fellowship. These include groups for those new to the faith, men, women, specific Lent and Advent studies, and many more. If you are feeling a call to do more with your faith, joining a small group is a great first step. For more information on our small groups and special events happening now, click here
PRAYER NETWORK
All prayer group activities are designed to bring people into a stronger relationship with our Lord and Savior, through an awakening of the Holy Spirit already sealed within our soul on the day of our baptism. There are many ways that you can pray (or have others pray for you or for your special intentions) here at St. Francis de Sales Parish.
