Hello Saint Francis de Sales Families,
Hello and welcome to another school year! I can’t believe how quickly summer went and I hope you all got to relax and enjoy it. As we move into the 2023-2024 school year, I can’t help but think about how much education has changed and how much Saint Francis de Sales School has changed. I remember the days of chalkboards, overheads, and one computer per classroom. Now education is moving to all online and focused more on content than the student learning it. This made me wonder what is important in education and what is best for students. The big word the staff and I used during the summer is basics. Getting back to basics and remembering what is important. Making sure kids feel supported, challenged, and learning something new everyday is my goal for this upcoming school year, to keep moving forward but remembering the basics of education. I’ll be honest, we don’t have all the bells and whistles of other schools, but we have our faith and our strong community that sets us apart. I look forward to a great year and working with everyone to create the best possible learning environment for all invested parties. We have had a lot of changes for this upcoming year to help make this a possibility.
Extracurricular activities make a school come alive. St. Francis de Sales offers a variety of opportunities that allow students to become involved in areas of interest, and display their talents and skills outside the academic arena.

The St. Francis de Sales Parish School Student Athletic programs are offered by the school to help in the total development of the child. The programs are an important aspect in the schooling of the child, yet it is also a privilege.
