School Mass
As our school opens in a few weeks the Thursday Mass will be the school Mass. Our Adult Community is welcome to that Mass but we ask that only in the chapel area. As many of our Adult Community will tell you these School Masses are some of the most inspiring Masses. As School begins that means during the weekday the Eastern gate will be closed for the parking lot on the Office side of the facility. This is to ensure the safety of our children during drop off, school physical education, recess, and school pick-up. We appreciate the care you give to our students by not fretting about the eastern gates closer. During the weekend celebrations that gate will be open.

Who Cares?
Throughout the month of August, Human Concerns will be collecting backpacks. These will be shared with our area schools. Some will be donated to the children served by The Tree House.
Please leave your caring gift in The Center. Who cares?  St. Francis surely does!

Start dates of Activities in the Parish

1. Book studies, Bible studies, RCIA, Church Funeral Visitations, Pancake Breakfast, Hospitality Sundays (under a new format), Funeral Dinners and other activities will begin sometime during the month of September.

2. All ministries connected to the Liturgy except for Servers are all active and we hope to expand as time goes on such as reception under both species (Bread & Wine). But that expansion is dependent on the number of Eucharistic Ministers who return to a full commitment as an EM. Servers will return when I am ready to train servers.

3. Baptisms at Sunday liturgies will not return for a while. Not because of any limits by priest or parish but because so many other things need to be jump-started. We are already doing Baptism every week, but at this time outside the Sunday Liturgy.
