Dear St. Francis de Sales Parish School Families,
St. Francis de Sales Parish School had a wonderful time participating in the 50th Annual Lake Geneva Electric Christmas Parade this past Saturday! Our float, featuring Noah’s ark filled with animals both inside and walking alongside, brought the story to life with lights, creativity, and plenty of school spirit. It was great to see so many of our families along the parade route enjoying the lights, music, and Christmas cheer. Kudos to our parents who decorated the “ark” or helped out with the parade! Thank you to everyone who came out and bundled up to celebrate with us!
Our annual Advent Breakfast took place this past Sunday, and it was a wonderful morning of food, fellowship, and community celebration! Hosted by our St. Francis de Sales Parish Home and School Association, the event provided a festive way for families to gather after Mass and enjoy the start of the Advent season. Guests enjoyed a delicious homemade breakfast buffet and had fun with the many other activities. A special thank you to the many volunteers who helped make all of this possible: your time, talent, and generosity ensured a joyful and successful event for our entire St. Francis de Sales Parish School Family!
This Sunday, December 14th, our St. Francis de Sales Parish School students will be celebrating the 7:30 am Mass. We invite our school families to join us as our students participate in the liturgy and represent our school family.
We are excited to share that we had perfect attendance at school on Tuesday, December 9th! To celebrate, all students and staff are invited to enjoy a casual dress day on Wednesday, December 17th. Thank you for helping us make this possible!
The holiday season is here, and we can’t wait to celebrate with our St. Francis de Sales Parish School Christmas Concert on Wednesday, December 17th, at 6:00 pm! Students should arrive by 5:30 pm to get ready for their big performance. Parents, please remember not to drop off children before 5:30 pm, as teachers will be preparing for the concert.
Students are encouraged to dress up in their festive holiday attire for the concert. Let’s make the evening merry and bright! Please, no blue jeans. School dress code rules still apply!
During the concert, teachers will supervise students in the following rooms in the lower level of the Parish Center:

Due to the many activities this month, the regularly scheduled December Home and School Association Meeting has been canceled.
It’s still not too late for your child to participate in the children’s choir on Christmas Eve at the 4:00 pm Mass. Please get in touch with Michael Deane at deanem@sfdslg.org by Friday, December 12th. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact him.
Save the Date! The Annual St. Francis de Sales Home and School Auction and Benefit will take place on Saturday, March 14th, at 6:00 pm at Big Foot Country Club in Fontana-on-Geneva-Lake. This year’s theme is “An Emerald Evening: Shining in Faith and Purpose.” Tickets go on sale February 1st. Although the event is still a few months away, our Home and School Association needs many volunteers to help with planning and execution, as this is our school’s biggest fundraiser of the year.
