Dear St. Francis de Sales Parish School Families,
This Sunday is our St. Francis de Sales Parish Fall Festival, and I want to encourage every school family to attend. The Fall Festival is more than just a fun event: It’s a great way for us to show our appreciation and support for the Parish that does so much for our school.
As you may or may not know, the Parish contributes significantly to the operation of our school. In fact, for the 2025–26 school year, the Parish will provide over $426,000, nearly one-third of our entire school budget.
| Actual Cost to Educate (per student) | $10,877 |
| Tuition (per student) | $4,375 |
| Parish & Other Supports | $6,394 |
Without this generous financial support, we simply would not be able to provide the quality Catholic education that our children deserve here at St. Francis de Sales Parish School.
To put it in perspective: while tuition for the coming year is set at $4,375 per student, the actual cost to educate each child is more than $10,800. The difference, over $6,300 per student, is made up through Parish support, donations, fundraising (Home & School !), and other sources.
That is why your presence at Parish events like the Fall Festival is so important. It is a way to give back, to show gratitude, and to strengthen the bond between our school and Parish community.
I encourage you to bring your family, invite friends, and enjoy the food, games, and fellowship this Sunday. Your participation not only supports the festival; it supports the Parish, and by extension, it supports our school and the future of Catholic education at St. Francis de Sales.
Who’s hungry?! Imagine this: your child and their whole class heading to Culver’s for a delicious lunch, and guess who’s tagging along? The principal! That’s right! One lucky student will win an all-expenses-paid Culver’s lunch for their entire class! Yes, the whole class and their teacher get lunch and custard or some other tasty treat. Don’t miss out: Place your bid at the Fall Festival and make this epic lunch date happen!
Because the tents are being set up for this weekend’s Parish Fall Fest, the Parish parking lot will be closed tomorrow afternoon and again on Monday morning. Student pick-up on Friday afternoon and drop-off on Monday morning will only take place in the Upper Parking Lot.
We will start dismissing students earlier on Friday as soon as parents enter the Upper Parking Lot tomorrow to help reduce some of the congestion. Due to this, we will close the playground tomorrow after school.
With the Curtis Street entrance closed, our Preschool parents are now also using the Upper Parking Lot, which has caused additional congestion in the morning. If you are walking your children to the playground during morning drop-off, please park along the fence on Curtis Street to allow parents who are just dropping off their children access to the exit.

Thank you for being an important part of our St. Francis de Sales community! I look forward to seeing you at the Fall Festival!
