Dear St. Francis de Sales School Families,
We are looking forward to Picture Day next Tuesday, September 16th. Families may order online or send the Picture Day envelope with payment to the school with their child. Picture Day is considered a dress-up day. Students are welcome to wear dress clothes for their photo. They may remain in these outfits throughout the day or change back into their school uniform afterward.

Our first St. Francis de Sales Parish School Home & School Meeting of the year is coming up on Wednesday, September 17th, at 6:30 pm in the 6th grade classroom. Home & School is our parent group that helps plan events, support teachers, and bring our school community together. It also serves as our school’s main fundraising organization, providing many resources that directly benefit our students and staff. It’s an excellent way to stay connected and have a positive impact! You’ll get the chance to meet other parents, learn about what’s going on at our school, and discover ways to be part of the exciting year ahead. Whether you’re new to our community or a familiar face, we’d love to have you join us! Snacks and good conversation are guaranteed: Come be part of it! Babysitting is available. All parents who attend earn a casual dress day dollar for their child!
We need a few middle school student helpers to babysit during the Home & School Meeting next Wednesday from 6:30–7:30 pm. It’s a fun and easy way to hang out with the little ones while earning community service hours, plus you’ll get a casual dress day as a thank-you! If you’re interested, let the office know: you don’t want to miss out!
Catholic Central High School (CCHS) is offering Shadow Days for 7th and 8th grade students, where each student is paired with a current high school student for a day. During this experience, students will:
Shadow Days give prospective students a chance to explore what high school is really like, ask questions, and envision whether CCHS is the right fit for them. Opportunities for Shadow Days are on the following days and times:
Dates: September 25th | October 10th, 28th, or 29th
Times: 7:30–11:30 am

Morning Drop-Off and Afternoon Pickup Reminders
Morning Drop-Off: Starting at 8:10 am, drive-through drop-off is available in the upper playground parking area as well as the Parish parking lot. If you prefer to walk your child to the playground, please park either by the fence along Curtis Street or at the far end of the parking lot. Parking this way helps keep the drop-off lane clear for parents using the drive-through.
Afternoon Pickup: Families who would like to stay and enjoy the playground (with adult supervision) are asked to park by the fence along Curtis Street or at the far end of the parking lot. Parking this way ensures there is enough space for parents who are picking up their children to exit the playground safely and efficiently.
We’re off to a fantastic start this school year at St. Francis de Sales Parish School, so let’s keep the celebration going! Next Friday, September 19th, students (and staff ) can kick back and enjoy a casual dress day. Dress comfy, have fun, and let’s keep the momentum going! Other surprises in store!

The kickoff to the 2025/2026 school year is right around the corner and Home and School is beginning to plan for the exciting things that the new school year will bring. There is a brief description of the events/volunteer opportunities. We ask each family to sign up for 2, but we welcome you to sign up for as many as you would like! Seal A Smile!
OPEN ARMS FREE CLINIC is offering a preventive dental sealant program for ALL children in ALL GRADES. This program is funded by the Wisconsin Seal-A-Smile, a collaborative program of Children’s Health Alliance of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. A licensed dental provider will come to the school to provide the sealant program at no charge to you. The program includes: assessment to determine if sealants can be done, sealants if appropriate, fluoride treatments and tooth brushing instructions with a new toothbrush. A follow-up letter will be sent home to describe what was completed and what is recommended for future needs. All procedures will follow recommendations from the American Dental Association and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s recommendations for school based dental sealant programs.
