Feels like Fall has arrived. We hope this email finds you and your family happy, safe and healthy. This year is looking a little different for our Home & School board and we are limited in fundraisers that we can have due to COVID. We are very excited to be involved in the Soles for Education walk this October. This is our big fundraiser for right now so lets make sure we can get everyone involved. See below for more details on this event and look for our Flyer to go out next week with all the information and fundraising opps you and your children can participate in. We are also in need of some parent help with our Soles walk. Please read through all of the exciting events coming up.
Election
ATTENTION, ATTENTION! Do you want to join the Home & School Board? The President and Vice President positions are up for election. The election will be held the week of September 28th. Soles for Education
Soles for Education Fundraiser held, virtually, on October 17th, 2020. We missed our annual auction last year, no 5K or Jog-A-Thon too. This is our only fundraiser for 2020. Help keep our school strong and thriving for the future in these unprecedented times. We encourage all of our families to help donate to this event. Let’s walk together as a school family to show our community that we are strong and united. This is also a chance to celebrate catholic education, build community and raise much needed funds that remain at our school. Calling all parents:
Were you hoping to be a room parent and now won’t get the opportunity due to covid restrictions? Do you miss being involved in your child’s classroom activities? This is your chance! We need 1-2 parents per class willing to act as a virtual contact and coordinator in setting a classroom fundraising goal and keeping your class’ families in the loop about contests, and games in preparation for our walk. Help your child’s class be a top earner and win some amazing prizes. Your role would involve (ex: setting a class fundraising goal, creating a thermometer chart to be displayed on outside of the classroom door and can be decorated by the kids complete with class “team name”, liaison between H&S and class families to communicate progress and other news.
