YOUR DONATION COUNTS!
What: 8th Annual Soles for Catholic Education Walk
Where: At SFDS school or a place of your choice to walk
When: Saturday, October 17th at 10:00am
Why: to celebrate Catholic schools, build community and raise funds that stay at our school.

Late Student Check In
Please remember that if you drop a student off late a parent must come to the main office to sign them in.

Vision Screening
Vision screening for Wednesday Sept. 30 is for grades 5-8.

Home Checks
As a reminder families are expected to be practicing in the daily morning home checks. A laminated sheet went home to each family. Thank you for cooperation in helping keep us all safe and healthy!

Aftercare
There is room in aftercare! Lots of games and activities led by our aftercare director Ms. Donahue.

Lunch News
Children may receive one free lunch through the Federal Free Lunch Program. If your child orders 2 lunches the charge for the second lunch is $3.50.This 2nd lunch increase will start Oct. 1. The charge will stay at $3.50 once the free lunch program ends.  To buy a “second lunch ticket “the cost will be $20.00/ticket of 6 lunches.

Safeguarding

Please read regarding volunteering at SFdS in the future!

As mandated by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, everyone who volunteers at St. Francis de Sales Parish School must meet the following requirements:

  • Attend a Safeguarding All of God’s Family session one time
  • Background checks run every 5 years
  • Sign the Code of Ethics every 5 years
  • To register for a Safeguarding All of God’s Family go to archmil.org and scroll to bottom right. You will be creating an account through CMG Connect and also be signing up for your background check to be done at the same time. A list of classes will be available. ALL CLASSES ARE DONE VIRTUALLY AT THIS TIME.
  • If you are in need of updating your Background Check/ Code of Ethics you will do so through the CMG    Connect website. Please contact Mrs. Pankau if you have any questions at registrar@sfdslg.org.

This is a program that is meant to help working parents whose children are in a virtual learning environment. It is limited to 20 student’s grades 1-8.
