Back to School

We continue to enhance our plan for return to campus every day.  It is still our intent to return to campus on August 31st, offering five days a week instruction on campus.  We will have an orientation for our families the week before school starts. 

Virtual Learning VL: I have extended the time to choose VL to August 20th.  To enroll in VL you must email Mrs. Maus and Mrs. Sykora if you intend to do VL. Because there were many questions on VL, I have attached a document to outline and clarify the VL platform.

Detailed plans are in process for students physically returning to campus. Other than the masks requirement changing from the state level (see attached document), we will continue to follow those guidelines sent out two weeks ago.  We are waiting for the Walworth Department of Health to prepare a parent guideline flyer for “Back to School”.  I have attached two documents from the Wisconsin Department of Health and CDC guidelines for your reference, especially on quarantine recommendations.  Each case can have different variables that the local Department of Health will address, but the attached document offers a general process. 

There have been many questions regarding before and after care.  We will have before & aftercare available. We will limit the number of children in the gym. Again you will be asked to sign up for before and after care by August 20th.  Please send an email to Mary Jo Pankau at registrar@sfdslg.org on the days and hours you would need aftercare.  We will limit how many families register.
