Dear Parents and Staff
I hope you continue to enjoy these summer months and are staying safe and healthy. I have had the opportunity to spend time with my grandsons and have done lots of research on the best way to prepare for the students’ return to our classrooms. It can be challenging with all the changes that are out there.
In the past few months on campus we have been working on a few things:
- Cleaning and updating our classrooms and all shared spaces
- Updated and purchased textbooks that can be easily accessed online
- Teachers have participated in a variety of professional development
- Moved our main office down the hall
- Updated our main hall student bathrooms
- And much more…
Father Ray, our new Pastor will begin August 4th. Together we will provide communication and an outline of SFdS “2020 Back To School” information.
At this time I am working closely with the Lake Geneva Schools and the Archdiocese of Milwaukee to ensure we are taking all precautions and following local guidelines to prepare a healthy learning environment for our children. We will be sending out a parent survey next week to be sure we hear your concerns as we put together our final details for our process and procedures for this Fall.
Please take time to complete the TADs agreement that was sent to all of our families at the end of June. Financial assistance is open for applications through TADS. You must complete your agreement before you apply for financial assistance.
Many of you are asking the same questions that parents across the country are asking. We are gathering the information from CDC, DPI & Walworth County while formulating our final plan. I will be sending more communication and answering questions after Father Ray arrives. We intend to be open on time for 5 days a week with an option for students who choose to do online learning. Please continue to be patient and supportive. Most importantly let’s pray to the Ho;y Spirit for continued guidance and strength. Thank you.
Terry Maus, Principal
Saint Francis de Sales Parish School
