To all of our friends and family at SFDS, thank you for your generous donations and support of the SFDS Annual Benefit “Furnishing Our Future.” We reached our goal of $50,000 in order to purchase new desks and chairs for the classrooms! We are truly grateful for this wonderful community we have here at SFDS!

Casual Day
There will be a casual day for all of the families that sold 12 or more raffle tickets, tomorrow Wednesday, May 5.
There were 22 families that purchased Casual for a Week. Mrs. Maus will be handing out a punch pass for you to use on any 5 days you wish for the remainder of the school year.
H & S Elections! Elections!
We are looking for a new Home and School Treasurer and Secretary. These are both great opportunities to give back to the school, get to know other families, and work with an amazing group of people who put a lot of heart into making our school a wonderful place for our children and staff! You will be trained and mentored by our current treasurer (Liz Dempsey) and Secretary (Katie Lynch) throughout your first year so there is no need to be intimidated. A detailed description of each position and the bylaws can be found on the school website under Home & School.

Yearbook order forms are attached! This is a pre order form. There was an ERROR on the form that went home. You must turn in the form or send an email AND send in payment with form. If you have emailed me or sent in the form without payment PLEASE send in your payment. Sorry for the confusion!
Art News
Earlier this year Mrs. Fain entered some of our talented art students into the Celebrating Art art contest organized by Blick art. . Congratulations! Arthur Ruecker, Lauren Cocroft, Wyatt Englebert, Natalie Butler, Mackenzie Chamberlin, Macklin Wilson, Norin Dempsey, Jack Nobilio, Nolan Leedle , Abigail Fain, and Grace Kluck!
These artistic students are being invited to be published. Only the best art is selected to be included in the full-color hardbound art book, ‘Celebrating Art’. Celebrating Art is proud to create a coffee table quality book. This is not a contest where every entry is invited to be published. Congratulations to our talented artists.

School Musical Shrek!
Tickets are for sale now!
Save the date for four awesome performances of Shrek the Musical Jr. This awesome show will be presented by students from Saint Francis de Sales School. Online ticket sales will begin on Thursday, April 22. Capacity will be limited so get your tickets while they last!

SAVE the DATE 5K Run/Walk & Fun Fair
Register for the 5K Run/Walk & Fun Fair
Register for our 9th Annual 5K Run/Walk and Fun Fair – SFDS.5K.Run – on Saturday, May 29 at 8am. It is $20 per person and includes a t-shirt when you sign up by May 16. The run will be chip-timed again this year. Let’s safely get together outdoors for our first family gathering of the school year. New this year, you will get to walk through and see some student Academic Fair projects on display and Fun Fair activities from some of our classes. Plus, we will have a water balloon launching competition and beer tent available after the race. It’s going to be a blast! You can sign up now at SFDS.5K.Run.
