On Aug. 8, Fr. Jim Schuerman welcomed a pilgrimage group from the Cathedral faith community. Led by Fr. Jeff Haines, rector and pastor of the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, the group is on a mission to visit all ten Holy Door Sites of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee during this Jubilee Year of Mercy. Fr. Jim spoke to the group for a few minutes about our parish history and then guided them through the Holy Door. Then the group
spent some time in prayer–first announcing and offering intentions for the parishes located in our Deanery, spending some time in quiet meditation, and finally concluding with the praying of the special Jubilee Prayer written by Pope Francis. Special thanks to Sue Thometz 
and Millie McCormick of our Stewardship committee for serving some “to-go” refreshments for our visitors to take with them on the bus as they traveled to the next church on their Holy Door pilgrimage. It was a wonderful experience for all!
