Dear SFDS community,
We are inviting you to participate in our
8th Grade Parade
May 15th at 6pm.
On the weekend the 8th grade students were supposed to go to Washington D.C. we are hosting a parade. The 8th graders and myself as supervisor will be masked on the upper playground 6 feet apart from each other. Cars will be staged in the lower lot starting at 5:45 p.m. We have to respect the Governor’s orders meaning; no getting out of our cars to congregate and socialize. We will line up cars in the lower lot in 3 rows in the direction of Curtis street, then cars will take a right on Curtis St., then another right
into the entrance of the upper parking lot and be able to wave respectfully to the graduates, then exit the parade taking another right on Curtis St.
We will use cones to guide cars and keep students safe as the cars drive thru. It will be similar to what you used to do in the morning drop off circle. It is optional for cars to be decorated in an appropriate Christ centered SFDS spirited manner.
We hope you come join in the fun!!!
